1. How to Request Account Deletion
If you want to delete your Viral Hook Maker account and associated personal data, send an email to amanthapliyal14@gmail.com from the email address registered with your Viral Hook Maker account.
Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
- Registered email address
- Username or display name, if applicable
- Any additional details that help us identify the account
2. Verification
After we receive your request, we will verify that the request came from the account owner or from someone authorized to act for the account owner.
We may ask for additional information if we cannot confirm the account from the email request alone.
3. Deletion Timeline
Your Viral Hook Maker account and associated personal data will be permanently deleted or de-identified within 90 days of receiving a verified deletion request, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
4. Data That Will Be Deleted
- Firebase authentication data connected to the Viral Hook Maker account
- Backend user profile data such as Firebase user ID, email address, display name, profile photo URL, role, plan, premium status, account status, creation date, and last active date
- Export limit data such as free exports used, weekly export count, export week start, and bonus exports
- Export event data associated with the account, including hook video ID, export status, export quality, watermark status, source, and timestamps
- Support communications that are no longer needed after the deletion request is completed
5. Data That May Be Retained
Some information may be retained when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, or compliance purposes.
- Transaction, subscription, or payment records, if applicable
- Security logs and system logs required to protect the service or investigate abuse
- Records needed to comply with legal obligations or enforce our Terms and Conditions
- Aggregated or de-identified analytics and hook performance data that no longer identifies you
6. Local Device Data
Viral Hook Maker is designed so your business footage and final exported videos stay on your device during the normal export workflow. Account deletion removes data we control on our systems, but it does not automatically remove files stored locally on your device.
The app may keep hook video cache files, the last selected language, and local export history on your device. You can delete local exports, cached files, and app data from the app or your device settings.
